Our welcome was very warm.Parking was very secure. Room large, clean and
comfortable.Florence was extremely friendly and helpful-gave advice on
tram usage (easier than driving into Bordeaux central) as well places to
visit in town and en route to our next destination. Homemade conserves
from her garden produce were a delicious addition to
breakfast.Unfortunately the weather was so poor we couldn't take
advantage of the garden and pool but she did light a fire for us to
enjoy a few glasses of wi. alle vurderinger »
The owner, Florance, is a delightful lady with lots of helpful information. The place is charming. She was very friendly about our dog and even offered to watch the dog while we explored the city. The city-center was only 10 minutes away by tram.

This is actually a B and B run solely by the lady owner. She provided info and personal attention to all guests, who all appeared well travelled. So while not exactly a hotel in the usual sense, it makes for providing a comfortable base for exploring Bordeaux as well as opportunity to meet travellers. The dining table became a social centre in the evenings. The rooms are larger than most hotel rooms, and come with attached bathrooms.
Not so much a dislike, more an inconvenience. Initially we had
difficulty finding the house and then getting to it; we missed the
signage on our first drive pass - it is attached to the garden wall. We
needed to park up away from the house to get directions of how to get to
the house and garage.
The curtains could not cover up the street lights.
