Friendly staff- spent a long time with use informing us of all the sites and sounds in Tallinn; where to go and where not to go for cheap food and drinks. Good activities planned. Great internet connection. Try and get the one private room on they have on the top floor. All public toilets/showers are clean. One person occupancy in each, so you have your own privacy. Relatively close to Old Town.
alle vurderinger » Staff wonderfully helpful, bathrooms kept very clean, all fixtures modern, safes in the rooms, nice design inside, large cooking and preparing area, lots of space to sit in lounge and pool table. Friendly atmosphere, relaxed and not party-crazy, which was nice. It's my second stay at the Monks Bunk. I liked it from the beginning: cheap, great location just outside the Old city, spacious kitchen and a wide range of entertainment from the staff. Friendly hostel. Went with my teenagers. It was in a good location, and lively, without being noisy. Great place to meet travellers from the rest of the big world out there. The blanket and pillow were super nice and soft, like sleeping in a cloud. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom facilities are modern. Good location, helpfull staff. We enjoyed to have a big 10 beds private dorm, we appreciated the welcoming staff, the pleasant huge common room and the nice parties at night!. Very close to the oldtown. Nice common Bathroom. Friendly and helpfull staff! Cheap Prices for drinks. Free Wifi. - Staff was great - All the facilites you can expect - Excursions organised every day at a competitive price. Good value for money, a lot of travellers (at my stay mostly Australians), so you'd not be left alone in your trip, fairly clean, billiard table & other leisure activities. Good for backpackers to stay several nights. nice atmosphere for having fun without noises in the private rooms. location. Price and location. Private room did not have its own bathroom/toilet. But the public ones were very clean and had privacy. Still no shelves in the showers, nowhere to put shampoo etc, 3 bathrooms on the floor (not enough in the mornings). Can be a bit noisy at night because of the street bar and drunken tourists. The door to our room could be opened easily although locked. There was a big halloweenparty the night before I had to leave in the early morning, quite noisy. No light in the Toilet (7a). Only 1 light was working on the ceiling. Small lights at the bed would be nice, when you want to read or come to your room late and don´t want to wake up the other ones. A Wardrobe & seatingfacilities in the room would be nice. Coffee against paying would be lovely too! :-). nothing. Neighbors. In our room's toilete there was no light bulb at all. Depending on the weather, the room can be too warm. The flatmates who are too noisy when they were drunk and came in the night. Poor variety of breakfast, could be noisy at night, not really comfortable facilities. room did not feel too clean although i could not complain too much. We asked about the towels and they cost 2€ - however later we were told it was OK and we did not have to pay. english manager was great. but the pretty girl at the reception..got a bad attitude. In the courtyard is a night club cafe. Up to six in the morning rattled the music and screaming people. Impossible to sleep because of the noise. In addition, the door from the hallway into the room glazed. The light in the hallway at night does not turn off and it also interferes with sleep. All the advantages of this hostel is undermined by lack of opportunity to properly rest. In the room was very cold (there are no central heating) and with a strong smell of swamp, only one light bulb in all the room on the ceiling!.
