  We arrived at the hotel a few hours earlier and the staff at the hotel allowed us to have an early check in. We tried restaurant in 12 floor (Horus) for dinner and 1st floor (Sphnix) for breakfast. The hotel staff at Sphnix tried their best to provide our request such as steam rice.   I have to give a special mention to Marion the restaurant manager who went out of her way to help us after we were not happy with the reception staff who dealt with us when we arrived. We were going to move hotels but she went that extra mile. She gave us complementary breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. Apart from the man on the desk all ... hva folk sier » the other staff were fabulous. The hotel is the best one for the Pyramids as it is only a 5 - 10 min walk and you can see them from the hotel grounds - This amazing place was perfectly located right next to the Great Pyramid in Giza. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a suite which was totally awesome with heaps too much space for us (not that we were going to complain). Make sure you pay that extra for the pyramid view - well worth it. The pool was glorious and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. The security at the gate was very reassuring and I was happy to put up with the small inconvenience.

  It was just what we were after: clean, everything functioned as it shoul, and a good price. We live in Cairo but like to escape to use a swimming pool every now and again. For this it was perfect! Personally, I loved the fact they have their own camel they bring out in the evening, what a nice touch! The prices once you are in the hotel are also v... hva folk sier » ery competitive with the prices you would find outside the hotel, which is a rarity in most parts of the world. - Once again Cairo and letsbookhotel.com have been able to provide excellent value for money although living in Cairo it was great to have an over night stay in a different part of the city. The main reason was the excellent sound and light show at the pyramids. But to get half board accomadation for 3 and access to swimming pool made it feel like we had not only crossed the city but gone further afield and left life behind.
