I was pretty amazed, honestly. The hostel is designed and furnitured very tastefully, the staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. Great, helpful, friendly staff. Very cool old building with character and nice, wood antique furnishings. I stayed in a private room and it was spacious but also cosy. The hostel is to far from the city centre for walking but Prague has a great transit system so you just walk a 100m down the road and you have lots of options of trams.

Most excellent, friendly, and helpful staff I've ever met. :) Attendant and active, taking care without being intrusive. I'd go back only for that reason. The paternoster lift! It's a unique experience that you must try. Open from 8:00 to 15:00. Look it up. Room was cosy and nice. It was quiet and fair location for price.

This was in a good location, with several restaurants and bars across the street and a row of shops and restaurants only a block away. The tram stop to downtown was also very close, although we found it quite easy to walk downtown. It was very quick to get to and from the main train station as well. Easy walk to the TV tower. We loved this place.
