  It was absolutely lovely. The staff was gracious, made us feel welcome. It felt like old world charm. Of course it was expensive but it was definately worth the price. We used all the facilities, especially the fitness center. We also requested a late check-out which they accommodated. - The hotel staff was so helpful and obliging.   The rooms were well-designed and our bed was a true double (rather than two beds pushed together - bonus!). We had a top-floor room under the eaves, which had interesting proportions and a nice view onto Kinsky Park, which is a tree-covered hill next to the hotel. The room was incredibly clean, the water heat and pressure from the rain shower was perfect, and there was a hai - I was with my sister and our parents we loved all aspects of the hotel from parking to being close to the trams and in walking distance of the Old Square ! Prague has a lot to offer from food to site seeing.It has just become my favorite European city I will return for sure .The hotel was amazing and I would certainly recommend this to all my family and friends across the world.

  Its a very convenient and unpretentious hotel at a very good price. warm and comfortable for our overnight needs. Nice breakfast as well. Nothing fancy. Just good all round.   Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character.   After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Not unlike what we experienced in Brno. Since... hva folk sier » we booked a deluxe suite (room 33), we had the comfort and luxury of a real appartment just next to the main tourist attractions. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.
