My stay at Palace Suites was truly fabulous. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels. We only stayed in this apartment one night, with a very last-minute (same day) booking, but were really impressed with the place. All the lighting, fittings and decoration are beautiful, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed the complementary fruit and coffee. The owner was extremely helpful, very friendly and warm. He was very kind to organise the taxi transfer from Split airport and let us leave our suitcases in the apartment before the actual check in time. We arrived late in the evening with a little toddler and had to organise something to eat. Pave showed us where the nearest supermarket is and where we could get a take away. He made us feel very welcome.
