  The staff were extremely helpful right from the beginning, from giving directions to certain attractions, booking taxis, to recommending restaurants. Everything they helped us with was brilliant, the restaurant the receptionist recommended was the best meal we ate all week, and not too expensive either - but still very romantic! There was a small kitchenette area outside our room which was a nice surprise as we hadn't realised this when we booked, so it was possible for u - It's a great location just of the Stradun, really easy to get around to the cable car, the walls, restaurants etc. **Tip** Take a backpack and not suitcases, there are a LOT of steps in Dubrovnik old town and carrying a suitcase up and down them is a bit of a pain. don't let that put you off staying in the old town though, it's romantic and beautiful.   Location was excellent! Right in the Old City on the port. Walking distance from everything in the Old City and the surrounding areas. Very short bus/taxi ride away from the main bus station. The owners were very friendly and helpful! They lent me an umbrella and a hairdryer without hesitation. Free Wi-Fi and a lot of informational booklets and maps in the room, and a set of towels. Every - At the port of Dubrovnik. From the rooms you see the port. From the bathroom it is a beautiful site of the boats at port and the sea beyond. When you step outside you are in Dubrovnik and the activity of the day. Mother and daughter operators were wonderful hostesses. I will stay there again.

  The hotel is located in an old house outside but very near the Pile gate (one of two to the Old City). Very convenient! The room is surprisingly large and tidy and has what you expect (including a hair dryer!).   B&B Villa Dubrovnik Garden was very nice place to stay for a week. The personnel was friendly and it was also possible to get gluten free breakfast. Breakfast was served on the terrace in the lower building (near travell agency). There we met people from all over the world. It was pleasant experience.
