  I was coming from Dubrovnik and we were 1,5 hours late because of the Bosnia-Croatia border crossing. Nevertheless, our host Lovre was still waiting for us and actually was in communication with our previous host trying to find out if we were save. He even gave us a cell phone that is assigned to the guests of the apartment. The apartment is very ... hva folk sier » big and fully equipped, dining room, tv room, kitchen, and of course bedroom. I think it has a very good location, the old town is within a nice 10min - We liked everything about our stay. The owners were really friendly and helpful and they wouldn't bother us during our stay like it happened in other apartments before. It is literally 10 minute walk to downtown Split and 3 minutes to the local supermarket Konzum. The apartment is superbly furnished yet practical with all kitchen appliances incl. coffee machine. There is even a small patio with a table and chairs in front of the apartment.

  Nice hotel and staff. Good placement in the city - Easily one of the most welcoming, helpful and service- oriented hotels we have stayed at. The owner/ manager and his staff went out of their way to make our stay in Dalmatia a most enjoyable and rewarding one. The hotel is new and spotless, and very conveniently located to access both the old city and the waterfront. We highly recommend - The customer service at Hotel Marul was superb. The receptionists were very welcoming when we came in, showed us around the hotel and shared insights/recommendations for dinner and activities in the city. One of the owners, Slavko, was especially helpful. He recommended 2 excellent restaurants while we were there and actually drove us to the restaurants himself.
