  We stayed here with the intention of taking advantage of the view...and the view is incredible! Every night that we stayed here we made our way back to the apartment with a bottle of one of Hvars wonderful wines and had a drink before dinner. After dinner we would then enjoy a nightcap looking at the stars and watching the lights in the harbour. We loved staying here so much that we booked an extra night here - The staff at Bonkan Hvar were so friendly and helpful even bringing refreshments to our room upon arrival. The room was quite large with its own kitchen and a beautiful, clear view of the water and town in Hvar. This place was very centrally located, within walking distance to the water, restaurants and all main attractions in Hvar Town. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

  The location is ideal , 5mn walk from the riva (no climb) where evrything is happening (restaurants , boat to he islands) . We were met by Jure at the bus station and it's a 1 mn walk from there . At the bus station there is a Konsum supermarket, a fruits and vegetables open market , bakery, cheese and ham and wine shop and a laundrette which is v... hva folk sier » ery convenient as there is no washing machine in the appartement. The appartement itself is functionnal and in very good condition but without charm . - Everything was top notch at this apartment. From check in to departure. Our host helped us with exploring the town. Car and boat rental way better than agency rates. The best place we stayed on our trip so far in Croatia the past two weeks. You are in the heart of the town and about a minute walk to bus station and main area. Quite street and beautiful Terrance to enjoy some wine on a nice evening.   Stayed with 3 other friends in an apartment and two of our friends in a smaller apartment. Really nice, really central, gorgeous views. Ten minutes from the very centre of Hvar town. Never far to walk anywhere. Absolutely gorgeous view and three balconies in the apartment. - Large apartment and nice terrace with great views of the sea.

  As noted already, everything was excellent... But An extra congratulations goes to the hotel. I had left some documentation in my room, and the hotel was kind enough to deliver it to me, with one of the staff members as I had already left the island. We thou roughly enjoyed our stay...   Excellent location, the 15 minute walk allows you to take in the quieter end of the harbour which has lovely restaurants and views worthy of a sunset drink, its also away from the busy crowds during high season. The staff are warm, friendly and couldn't be more helpful, they made us very welcome.   Our host was great! Her husband drove us to the ferry/bus port early in the morning to catch us a bus.The room was great. Had full facilities and very private. Couldn't hear the other guests which was nice. Margita was always available to answer questions. It was a bit of walk down to the beach, but it was straight down stairs. Didn't take too long, maybe 1 - The apartment was very luxurious. It was spotless and had beautiful views of the sea and islands around Hvar. The apartment had a great porch with a big table and chairs. The beach was just a short walk from the apartment and a little store was about a five minute walk. The town of Hvar was about a fifteen to twenty minute walk along the beach, but I was told it was less if you walk by road. There was room for parking our big van too (at no extra charge).   Villa Marijam is superbly located only 15 minutes walk from Hvar town and above the most beautiful beach you can imagine, which is only a couple of minutes walk away. The views are spectacular, which you can enjoy from the hammock, deck chairs or comfy cushions. Marijam is welcoming, warm and friendly and incredibly helpful- nothing is too much ... hva folk sier » trouble. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the exterior has lovely details such as lanterns and candles. I will certainly be staying aga - Beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful owner. The beach is very close. Quiet place. Good for relax. Only 15-20 walk to the centre of town. The walk is very enjoyable - on the beautiful shore. The food store is only 5 minutes from villa. Opportunity to swim at the "beach" across the promontory (can be reached via a 20 min path seaside, or a 10 min shortcut path across the promontory), closer than from city center.
