Where do I start..... From the owners texting us to find out our arrival time, so they could come and pick us up and take us to the Villa. On arrival we were greeted with some home made wine and a very relaxed approach to checking in and payment (which is refreshing after my experience of a lot of other countries. Good hotel with a nice pool area. We where there in June and the pool was not crowded which was very nice. Modern and spacious with good breakfast. A walk to the town of Bol took about 15 minutes with children 6-9 years.
Zlatni Rat beach was very nice but crowded. That's how it is when the beach is famous!

The reception staff member susana was amazing, her customer service was outstanding and we have stayed at many places around Croatia and she would have to be the best so far. Location was fantastic, right at the golden horn beach (zlatni rat). Food was nice at the restaurant. Zlatni Rat overall is excellent and yet so close to Split, it had many facilities close to the beach and cocktail bars and snack bars metres away. Great if you have kids, heaps of water sports and water jumpy castles.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lipa. The facilities were excellent, rooms very spacious and smart with lovely views onto the bay. The pool was good and the food very nice. The staff, in particular, were excellent. They spoke perfect English and did everything they could to make sure we had a lovely stay and to deal with any problems if we had them.

Villa Britanida is the classical little hotel run by a lovely family.
It's simple and very basic, but has everything. The positiong is strategic, quite and charming, just in front of the sea (and a beach with a great grilled fish restaurant), and close to the port, the autobus station and the center of the town.
The owner is a very lovely person, who did everything to make our request satisfied, with smile and warm-heart. That made a difference for us.
