The location and exterior were very nice. It is one subway stop from from the Pearl tower and the aquarium. The lobby and the first floor were very nice. The upstairs corridors were badly in need of a paint job and some surface repairs. My room had exposed piping and an open pipe in the floor. At check in I was hit with persistant offers to add overpriced beer, WIFI and breakfast as a 30 % add on. Didn't measure up to 4 stars.
