  We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive.   We had the penthouse apartment. The space of having separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the full kitchen and living room was fantastic for a family with 2 college-age kids + 1 5 year old.   Hi Vancouver was in a perfect location for shopping and bars and there was plenty of nights organised by the hostel for example comedy nights, a night at the hockey. I was booked into a 2 bed female dorm which I ended up having to myself for 3 nights. The breakfast was great and there was plenty of it. Simple, clean room, comfy bed, tv and a basic bathroom. Good value for money considering what I would have had to pay at a hotel.   I've stayed here before. The shuttle driver was friendly.....one note for future customers....the shuttle won't pick you up until you call. The people at the desk were great too! While we were there a cancellation came through and they gave us the room.

  I was in awe about the Jericho Beach location and the quiet location of the hostel.
