  This is a classic seaside and country resort. The original intent is genuinely adhered to by the owners. The Mountain Gap is meant to transport you to another time and place and this is most definitely achieved. Country cabins are expected to be rustic in nature, but these come with clean bedding, happy staff and an air conditioning and heating ... hva folk sier » system you'd expect in a large hotel. The pool was spacious and clean. There was a playground and giant chess. There was a large fire pit with Adiron - Good location to use as a base for touring the area, dinner was excellent and suggestions of what to visit and where to eat were perfect. An ideal setting for families.
