We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The beds and the jacuzzi tubs in each room are AMAZING!!! -

First and foremost, the staff treated us excellently. We had a problemwith our first room, it had a smell like someone had been smoking. Thestaff checked vacancies and moved us to an upgrade without hesitation,then followed up to make sure we were happy in our new surroundings. Pleasant staff, clean rooms wonderful view of the harbour, the valuted ceilings and large patio (we had a wonderful sunny weekend which added a little space to the regular hotel room. The furnture is a little out dated but that is in keeping the with the island zen ways Wondeful food ..

While pricey - this resort is worth every penny - the rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent views of the bay, ocean or forest. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

I loved the beautiful location. It is so tranquil. The bath tub is so easy and safe to get out of, which is really saying something for a senior. Seafood dishes were excellent!! -

Front desk were all friendly and helpful, considerate of our age. Our room was very clean and the appointments fresh and appealing. We liked the little balconu for fresh air and the view was pretty even tho' we were not very high up, our choice. We recommended the hotel to afriend who is going to stay there next week.

The honeymoon suite and similar oceanfront suites are superb...spacious, warm, inviting, inspiring, romantic, tranquil. The food preparation is exquisite with a generous menu variety.
