We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

The shuttle bus to and from the hotel was excellent. The front staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room was upgraded at no extra cost. Overall it was a great place to stay and when I'm in Montreal again I will definately be back. - Close to airport, free shuttle and they upgraded the room to a suite.

I highly recommend Ambassadeur Suites as a choice of stay. My daughter
and I stayed over March Break and had a fantastic time. All the staff
were very friendly and courteous and even went as far as to assist me
when asking about another hotel guest whom I met (Manhattan Steve) who I
never got to say good by to, would have been nice to stayed in touch
