Peggy and Gerald were fantastic hosts. They make you feel like family. We were given great information about nearby tried-and-true restaurants and attractions. The location is fantastic- 15 min. walk to everything. The breakfasts were big and delicious. We loved the fresh fruit and baked goodies. Our room and bathroom were large and spotless

The house was very clean.

Owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Minor confusions fixed immediately and graciously, the food at dinner was excellent and even a fire was set up outside by the beach. Watching cottages come and go from the marina provided entertainment fireside. Really great experience. -

The area is beautiful and there's lots to do. It was a great getaway for a couple of days. -

Convenience to the wonderful attractions of Port Hope; the best breakfasts; the best hosts, Deborah & Liam; and topping the list of bests, their fourteen month old wolfhound Maggie. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the time we walked up the front steps to the time we checked out. We had an issue with our room and it was dealt with quickly and with little fuss. The room we ended up staying in was lovely, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Hotel is in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere
