This hostel was amazing. I haven't seen before that kind of hostel. It is more then that. I have been travelled a lot before and che lagarto was the best hostal i have ever been. Clean; close to seaside; close to everywhere; workers was really profesyonel and talk different languages like english, spanish, Portuguese, etc... For the price its really worth it. Clean and funny hostel, probably in one of the best and safest location of Rio. The personal is extremely friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean and quiet.

Nice for young people, and really cheap comparing with the prices of
copacabana. If you want something cheap, this is a good option.
Nothing... It was perfect.
-I caught a huge cold & an ear infection ( not because of the hotel
:) ) -poor breakfeast (even if I can understand it due to the cost...),
you can eat all you want but not much diversified (bread, butter, jam,
cereals) -wc not so clean.
Bathrooms and toilets are a little bit small, and in the morning it is not that hard to be waiting before having a shower.
Dorm rooms were very small.
Bathrooms weren't very clean.
Beds are not very comfortable. I had backache.
when i arrived to thw hostel my reservation wasnt make.
Too noisy, music all night long at the hostel entrance. Toilets are
really dirty by the end of the day and hot water sometimes is not
available. If you can ay a little more choose another place.
