  Staff was very helpful with giving suggestions for the activities in the city and spoke good English. Rooms are very nice and neat. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best we had in Brazil. Location is very safe, which is important if you visit Salvador.   Chez Max was a comftabel pousade. Especially the restaurant we really liked. There was every evening live music, nice food and wine. It is on the third beach so a little bit more quitte than the more busy beaches which is nice. The bungalow was not so cosy as we expected. The lights were to bright, the bathroom is not so clean and the feranda was a littl - Loved this place! We stayed in a Bungalow and it was great, had air con and a fridge. The location was perfect, only a couple of ins to the action and half way point to both beaches. The restaurant was also fabulous, by far the best Italian on Morro. The breakfast, which was included was also fabulous. I would 100% recommend this place.

No one could visit and not appreciate the care and thought that has gone into the design and attention to detail, especially in the bay-facing rooms, with their balconies and spacious, comfortable rooms. We spent plenty of time in the pousada (guest house) simply relaxing in the huge lounge downstairs, with its paintings and shelves full of books.
