  We heard it's the best hotel in Morro and it's probably true. Everything was great. The position is just perfect, close to the 'segunda praia' (you can walk there along the beach or take the free hourly jeep from the pousada) but laying in between the quiet and stunning 3rd and 4th beaches. Great breakfast. Good shuttle service to town, but it is also easy to walk to the little town if you use the beachfront. Great to relax and quiet. If you like noice and party stay at the center, if you like it quiet but close to the beach the place is perfect!

  We stayed at the Solar do Carmo for 2 nights in March. The hotel is situated quite close to the old town on a street of renovated colonial style buildings. Some of the surrounding houses have yet to be renovated but don't be put off by the exterior. Inside the hotel is a lovely spacious reception area, decorated in a traditional style. It was a lovely spacious room with a nice balcony overlooking the ba - I cannot imagine a hotel that could better reflect the most charming aspects of Salvador. Levi provided the friendliest service I have experienced in my extensive worldwide travels. I strongly agree with all the positive things that Christina of Carnago, Italy has reported in her review.
