The staff was incredibly helpful, setting up a waterfall tour for us on the spot. Excellent location and beautiful rooms and establishment. Wonderful people at the desk and a charming city. The room was small, but very clean and modern. It was central to everything and a short walk to the boats for day trips to the islands and swimming. I would highly recommend the Pousada Do Ouro.

Location was excellent if you have a car -- a 2-3 minute drive to the edge of the historic area. The pousada is right on the river, which you can see from both the pool and the open-air restaurant. Staff were amazing! Very professional and attentive as well as warm.. Our chalé was spacious with large bed and good quality software bedding.
The breakfast was very good - great variety of fruits, juices, breads, cheeses, all served al fresco with small cute monkeys watching from surrounding trees.
Thank you Magia Verde team for a lovely relaxing holiday in Paraty!

I liked everything except the mosquitoes. The pousada has a great location,the facilities are fine, the landlady speaks English and is accommodating. We reserved a budget double, and when we arrived asked for something bigger, willing to pay the additional price. They were not filed then and gave us a better room for the same price. -
