First, the customer service was outstanding. Nelson, his wife Oberta,
and his entire staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and
to help us in any way they could. The accommodations were equal to
supposed luxury hotels elsewhere. But the thing that sets Itacoatiara
Inn above all others we have stayed, is how the owners and staff made
you feel welcome for the entire time you are there. The food was very
good and there was a good variety of meals to try. When we needed a ride

The place is lovely and very near to the see.
Nobody speaks english nor spanish (except the very kind owner, but she
is not there in the afternoon). I did'nt uderstand how to switch off
the air conditioning in my room, it was cold and nobody could explain to
me. The rooms look directly toward the garden but there are no curtains
at the window!?!.
