We loved the staff at the Ipanema Inn. Everyone there spoke English and were extremely helpful in finding excursions, transportation, food etc.. We had a large group of 6 (2 seniors and 2 children under 9) which made for some difficult logistics when trav
... hva folk sier » eling and the staff here made everything easy. Breakfast buffet was amazing and you can walk to the beach. Hotel provides umbrella and towels to chill on the beach for free. This is a great place to stay and will do it again. -
Hotel staff very attentative and helpful. Probably the best value for
money in the area. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Same as the rooms.
Although I stayed in a room with street view, there is no noise.
Definitely a good option for those who want good location and good
service without being ripped off. -
The hotel has been refurbished, is clean, comfortable and the staff and breakfast are great. It is close to shopping, restaurants and close to the beach. Most of the staff speak English. We had a spacious family suite with a terrace and beach view. Also, the a/c unit was quiet and the shower was good too.

Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Our room on the Ipanema Floor was really lovely, nice modern furnishing and fantastic view of the beach. The hotel restaurant is really good and the breakfast was also excellent.

From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing.
The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a
room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar
and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!)
and were upgraded to a suite with spectacular views of Copacabana Beac

beach. All inclusive mini bar, late check out. We only stayed one night

Friendly and helpful staff. We had mentioned on the 'special
request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a
special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of
champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture. Spacious
reception area fantastic sea view if you get any of the front rooms
