  Ideal location, walking distance to village, but very private and secluded. Mere steps from small beach. Private boat to pick you and your bags up from main dock. Each room has veranda with hammock - lovely to sit and listen to the waves. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Even have beach towels you can borrow. Fresh, varied bre... hva folk sier » akfast. Will go back again and again! - We had a wonderful stay at Sagu and the host, Jean Louis, and all the staff really looked after us. We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated. The bungalows had gorgeous beach and garden views and overall our stay was excellent.

  Friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast, with fresh fruits & cake. Location was good (the village is small, so I guess most locations are Ok) Small fridge in the room. - Josefina, the girl who works at the pousada was really nice to us. She helped to make our stay in Ilha Grande a great one

  The hotel is located only 50 meters from the main dock. The hotel is directly in front of the beach and breakfast is served looking out over the sea. Breakfast is varied, including lots of fresh fruits. The staff speaks English and is very helpfull. The rooms are nice and clean, including a/c and a refrigerator. Super friendly staff. I was backpacking with my boyfriend and the room was the same price as a private room in the local hostels and a million times better.

  Amazing staff, allways traing to help Very nice location but not close to the beach or central street - Nice breakfast and five o'clock tea ;) nice spot and nice people.
