Though the reception closes at 10:30 PM, the staff was up and waiting for us until we arrived at 01:00 AM, a BIG + for that.
We will definitely book Villa Wien next time we come to Sarajevo.

I arrived much later than expected to Sarajevo, but despite having to wake up the owners, they were very understanding! They made me feel very welcome and cooked me a lovely breakfast (special eggs for Easter too!) They even looked after my bags after my check out time so I could explore Sarajevo a bit more before moving on. -

cosy. You can also enjoy on the terrasse pointing to the Baščaršija. It
has the best location to explore the "old town"(baščaršija,

It's easy to get to the city centre by taxi (it only costs about 3 Euros and takes a few minutes).
Free parking is available outside the hotel.
Room service is very good in the hotel and the breakfast is also quite nice.
Sarajevo is just one of the best places to go to in Europe and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a low budget yet good quality service.

First off, Irma and Eldin (I'm sorry if the spelling is incorrect guys!) made our staff that much better. They were both extemely friendly, and gave us fantastic advice on great restaurants, things to do, etc. - Eldin even held up traffic to take a few pictures of us with the Latin Bridge. We liked everything about this hotel except it was rated as a 3 star because it has no parking facilities but was clearly a 5 star hotel. We have travelled extensively & this was one of the best hotels ever. We a corner room (401) which simply lovely, huge, a suite in fact, for the price of a room. Right in the centre of town, obviously, by the name.

First of all the hotel is situated in the center if the town. so, if you travel by car, I trully sugest you to reserve a parking place (especially in the garaje right near), because it is a very busy area and no parking place can be found.
Second of all, the staff is maybe the best I have ever met, the girls in front and also the maneger make the best to please the clients and to make them feel confortable.
All in all, it is a hotel that I honestly recommend.

Stayed at this delightful, small, Rooms were spacious, excellent. Room facilities were better than a 5star hotel. More than clean and with soft towels. Beds were very comfortable. Continental buffet breakfast (included in room price) was excellent with cheeses and pastries as well as the usual cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. I read somewhere that they don't have water after 11 PM, but it's not true, we had all night. Location, location, location: Halvat is as close to Baščaršija as you can get without being in it, and just steps away from restaurants, shopping, and a grocery store.
The rooms are comfortable, the beds bedecked with an obscene amount of pillows. It's nice and quiet, too.
Contributing greatly to our stay was helpful advice from Amina, the front desk attendant, who gave us a bunch of terrific restaurant and nightlife recommendations. Her help really improved our trip!

The location is super excellent to visit the city on a 3 day as I did.
While it is lightly difficlut to find, there is good signage which takes you from the main road running along the river to the location.
This review may not be as useful in upcoming days as the Hotel Art is joining the Europa Hotel under new managment since we left...so they may be some changes.
