  Once we had got our bearings inside the hotel, we found everything extremely convenient. The room was very well equipped, and the bed superbly comfortable. The breakfast seemed to us too expensive, but in retrospect and considering what was on offer, perhaps we should have tried it at least once.   We liked everything about the hotel: forthcoming and courteous staff, beautifully designed and appointed rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. Perfect location. - We had a nice discount, so we stayed in this very luxurious hotel for the price of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Everything was spotless. And the location is supurb!

  The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. After a day of walking, my wife was not up to walking to any local restaurants so he - The reception by the staff was very friendly and informative. The building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.   Really helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Will definatly be staying at this hotel again. Quite difficult to find hotel parking due to one way systems and pedestrian streets but hotel staff were brilliant with directions. - The location in the town centre.
