The owners here take great pride in their B&B! The entire place is very well appointed, nice, new & clean. Pleasing furnishings & decor for comfort & eye-appeal. Breakfast was fabulous! The owners know a lot about the area & the history & are glad to make recommendations...plenty of brochures & maps there as well. The price was more than we would have liked, but this is Europe in summer & it was less than other things in the area...a perfect base for exploring th.

In adjacent garage amazing collection old original mini cars in various stages of renovation Friendly local cafe/bar few doors down Convenient for WW1 battlefields which was purpose of visit, also owner told us about 8pm nightly menin gate last post ceremony in local town of Leper ( Ypres), which was very moving. Alain and Rita were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was newly refurbished and the breakfast exceptional. The location was about 3 minutes drive from the town but this did not present a problem. Would recommend this establishment to anyone. Thanks for a memorable time in Ypres. The owners are delightful. They are friendly and eager to please. They produced an amazing breakfast spread even though the two of us were their only patrons. Completely renovated in 2012, it is modern and gorgeous. Ieper is a cute town. apparently something happens at 8 PM but we missed it. I loved the couple that ran the B&B. They were super friendly and would help you with anything that you asked. The rooms were incredibly clean. The decor was modern and quirky. I would definitely recommend this place though - we loved it!. Reasonably close to Ypres town centre. Modern, clean and comfortable room. Value for money. Breakfast included in room rate was generous and excellent fare. Landlord husband and wife were nice and very friendly. Rita and Alain are excellent hosts. If you intend to attend the "Last Post" Ceremony of remembrance at the Menin Gate be sure to get there early to secure a favourable view. Owners were very friendly and helpful,rooms were good and bathrooms excellent.Breakfast was excellent. Bar facilities and a wide range for buffet breakfast. The breakfast was very good. Coming in at night, halls are dark, some automatic motion-sensor lights would be helpful!. Out of town, so car to restaurant. The location was a bit far out than I expected. We took taxis to and from either the Ypres station or Menin gate (cost €10) The bathroom in our room was just behind a wall (no door!). The en suite loo, wash basin and shower were only separated by a head height screen. The steps down to the bedroom were a little steep for someone unsteady on their feet. All double beds,difficult for an all male party Up lighters in mezzanine bedroom are dangerous and very hot,one of the boys put his case on it and it set on fire. Fortunately it was spotted and put out with only damage to the case and a couple of items of clothing. en-suite unusual arrangement of wall without door. Everything was ok. No internet access No door on ensuite bathroom Confined headroom in bedroom.
