We had a lovely large triple room, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, warm and comfy, lovely large bathroom, great breakfast, within easy walking distance of the centre of Salzburg and 2 minutes to the train station, unassuming and friendly multi-lingual staff, fast checkout. The pension was perfectly clean, and approximately 20 meters from it is
a bus stop. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The
reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save
unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on
Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is
definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on,
so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.
