Location was fantastic, beautiful scenery and location. Lovely apartment, which is huge and well equipped. Hallstatt is picturesque. Great walking and interesting tours of local attractions like the salt mine and ice caves. Warm weather, swimming and diving in the lake. The restaurant Pizza Milano was a find towards the end of the week. Good pizza at good prices - kept the children happy.

Spacious airy bedroom with MAGNIFICENT views. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable leaving you totally chilled out. Sauna was a big bonus to ease aching bones after long hikes.
Klaus the owner was invaluable with his local knowledge on beautiful treks and advise on routes to drive and sights to see. His recommendations were 10/10.
Close to all restaurants and the little town too but very tranquil....only noise were from the ducks and swans in the lake.

Having read many reviews beforehand, it is known that the hotel itself is not in the Hallstatt downtown and does not have a lake view. However, it is strategically located: 1) very near the bus stop and downtown, yet without all the noise; 2) roads to the hotel are flat, no problems for people towing luggages; 3) has a carpark; 4) virtually beside the saltmine cable station and near a waterfall. Location of the apartment is good once you are in the hallstatt.It is very near to the bus stop but a bit far from the ferry's stop.If you have luggage, I would recommend to book a cab/taxi.It is about 15 min walk from ferry's stop.
The kitchen of apartment is well equipped with all the necessary utensils.
