We were made very welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly use this hotel again. - Nice clean very comfortable room in a quaint town of Bad Ischl which isa few hour train or bus ride from the city of Saltzburg. Hotelrestaurant was excellent.

Everything was excellent !!! From the hotel's staff that was very helpful in everything we needed, the breakfast, cleanliness,the facilities (very nice sauna and turkish bath), the location(center of Bad Ischl, a lot of shops near by, overlooking the Traun river), the comfort, parking...We will certainly go back there if we get the chance.I highly

We spent 5 lovely days in Landhous Fay at the beginning of May. The house is situated probably in the best part of Bad Ischl, surrounded by pure nature and still close to the town (about 5-10 minutes by car). Rene and Mark are lovely couple, always helpful and with good advice when it comes to places worth visiting. We were also very satisfied with our room which was very nice designed, so as dinning room. We highly recommend Landhous Fay as a perfect place to stay.

for exploring the entire lake district. There are many options for
hiking, -
1. Mr. and Mrs. Herridge were two very friendly British people and can speak both English and German. They were helpful with our travelling plans and offered very good service.
2. The appartment was big, clean, well furnitured and warm in winter.
3. From the bedroom we had a very good sight of the Alps.
4. Covenient traffic: the Bahnhof is only 5 minutes away and trains connect Hallstatt and other beautiful towns. City centre is also very near where you have everything.

Great welcome. Huge, clean, quiet room. Super breakfast selection with fantastic bread, and excellent evening meals. Great value for money. The town is a good base for rail travel N/S and buses to nearby places such as St Wolfgang, Hallstatt & Gosausee which is a stunning gem. As good a holiday hotel as I can remember. -
