Beautiful two bedroom apartment with large living area, and good kitchen and laundry. Soft beds big bathtubs. 4km from the city centre which made it quiet. Staff were great. Free DVD movies including some for the kids. Cheap esky hire for a picnic. Safe for the kids. Two pools, one fully heated and one partially heated. BBQ area. Golf course next door. Three nights was not enough, should have stayed longer.
alle vurderinger » Lovely tropical retreat atmosphere with bird song being the only "noise". Very welcoming and helpful friendly reception staff. Lovely pool in natural rock setting. Only slight drawback is the 6 minute ride into Port Douglas centre but this is more than offset by the tranquility and lush surrounbings of the resort. This is a really good resort, at a really good price. Resort gardens and pool are lovely. Note it's not a hotel, so it offers different services. Tour operators collected us from the resort. The best fish and chip shop is very close - it's "4 Mile Fish and Chips". Paradise links was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable, the pool area was great and the staff were absolutely brilliant. They could not do enough and always had a smile. We loved the location out of the town too. Everything was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise that there was a washing machine and dryer as we had been travelling extensively before our respite at Paradise Links. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We will go back. Shirley and John are very friendly and helpful. The villa we booked was very cosy. The view of the resort was spectacular! We all loved it and had fun there! I definitely would recommend it to all my friends!. We had a great stay here , the staff were particularly helpful guiding us and giving advice. The BBQ area was excellent and the pools fabulous. Our room was very good with all we needed Had a great stay. Fabulous staff and facilities. Great access to the beach. Quiet and serene. No restaurant or room service, but there are some local restaurants around the corner and a big supermarket two minutes drive away. Can't find fault with this idyllic resort. A go back to place. If staying for more than a week, I suggest choosing the larger room. Generally, eating out in Port Douglas is quite expensive. Not relevant. Nothing!. The restaurant was a long distance from our room. The apartments are not serviced unless you spent 8 nights or more. The only thing i could fault were the beds. They didnt feel like "luxury" like you would expect but they were still comfy enough to have a good nights sleep on. nothing. Being surrounded by Clive Palmers monopoly. There was no flyscreen/security door to leave open during the day/night. Romm service once in 5 days is not enough. 24HOUR vent/fan running in bathroom was noisy and kept us awake.Sprinklers along path next to pool were on whilst trying to make my way to and from bbq,very inconvenient and annoying as we got wet. Poor directions to finding the resort on arrival in Port Douglas. Nothing, everything was great. Lots of children, but it was school holidays. Bed was a bit firm, but the staff put a topper on the bed and it was perfect!. Crocodiles. all good. the room.
