The tour desk can provide information on the local area. Each villa features a kitchen with microwave, toaster, tea/coffee making facilities, dishwasher and minibar. All villas have private balconies and DVD players. Port Arthur Resort is a 10-minute drive from the Tasmanian Devil Park. It is just over 1 hour’s drive to Hobart International Airport.

Wally our host was most helpful and knowledgeable with all the local sites and attractions. The Villas had all the mod cons and were well presented. Local wildlife surrounded the Villas with the odd bunny rabbit, cow, wombat and skippy or two. Everything is a short distance from the Villas and for Port Arthur Historic site you can walk there. Wally was very welcoming, nothing was too much bother. It was close to the Historic Port Arthur site. The room was comfortable, clean and it had everything we needed. It was nice to see and hear the animals in the morning and late afternoon. We would recommend it to anyone else going over there.

Very quiet and peacefull, we went to Nubeena (about 10 mins drive) for a puband bottleshop as Port Arthur didnt have much at all. I would def recommend this hotel if you are staying to do the Port Arthur Historical siteseeing. Wally, eventhough I did not get to meet you, you were fantastic to communicate with via the phone. Lovely quiet place to stay and not far from the Historical site. A clean,warm,inviting,well set out comfortable place to stay,great location with a very pleasant outlook,can't recommend this place strongly enough.. Great villa, had everything we needed. Expected more luxury because it was the most expensive place we stayed in over 2 weeks in Tasmania. out the back of our unit there was a big drainage issue, the shower had mold in the base, apart from that the unit was well placed and in a nice setting. List of rules with associated money penalties for breaking them. Assumes all guests are irresponsible and careless. Old, run down. Very tiny bedrooms. Water was very dirty.
