The Motel was a short pleasant walk from Kiama Station. The room was large and pleasantly decorated. The staff were very helpful when we phoned to say we were running late to check in because of a rail problem. When we finally arrived we were greeted warmly. The Motel was within easy walking distance of the shore and the Blowhole and the town shops. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly. It was great value for money (a friend had stayed elsewhere in Kiama recently that was more expensive and nowhere near as good as K.S.). The location is brilliant - you can walk into town. Cafe out the front very convenient too.
alle vurderinger » The renovations are amazing and the staff. We have been staying there for many years on our holidays. It is very central to everything and within walking distance to the shops, club, eateries and variety shops. The placement of the motel to the rest of Kiama was absolutely fantastic. The privacy was also great as we were left to ourselves with little disturbance from staff or surrounding guests. This motel was what you would expect for the budget price. It was newly refurbished which was a plus. The hand basin and the bath tub had not been up graded so were a bit marked. Strategic location, just a minute drive to blow hole, heaps of food around, friendly staff member, clean and comfortable room. @ affordable price, what more can I ask?. Motel has been recently renovated. Room was spacious and quiet. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to clubs, pubs, shops, restaurants and sea side. the location! I really enjoyed the spa!!! Excellent and efficient service from reception in checking in and out! I would definatelly recommend it!. that u actually ask me how i liked it, the pool area that the room was quite big the bathroom, very clean aswell as good pressure on the water. The pool and BBQ area was very clean and nice. The room was very nice for a motel, I think you should change the name to Kiama shores hotel. Really liked the verandah looking out to cottages and park. Large spa bath was great. Excellent television. Nice bathroom facilities. it was a really lovely motel with nice surrounds and it was very clean and comfortable, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Nice bright entrance which was welcoming. Friendly reception staff. Generous size bedroom and big bathroom. Comfy bed. Proximity to attractions around the town. Walking distance from a number of restaurants, cafe's and tourist sites. Good choice of eating places within stumbling distance, close to seaside parks and sights, free cable tv movies. Large room,quiet, very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants. We love the foreshore walk to the blowhole. Very central to shops. Staff extremely friendly. Renovations happening but was not an inconvenience at all. Close to the town and Harbour / Blowhole everything was in easy reach of the motel good off street parking. The motel rang to find out how far away we were so they could make arrangements for our late arrival. Perfect location - walking distance to all features/restaurants/clubs/hotels/food courts, etc... We found the rooms clean, spacious and very comforatable. Having the cafe close by was a bonus. The room size was great. The cleaner didn't seem to think cleaning around the edges of the bathroom and behind the door was necessarily needed. Not nice seeing the previous persons public hairs floating around the floor. Nothing. All good!. that the tiling of the floor was stopped in the middle of the job dirty carpets. I didn't like that the hotel room didnt have a microwave or plates and cutlery. Having a mobility issue, a lift to the top floor would have made everything more perfect. It was a struggle up the stairs. the room smelt quite smoky ..i'm guessing that the guests may have smoked out the door and the smoke lingered in, it wasn't very pleasant ......but it was quite a wet day so probably a bit hard to air it adequately ..everything else was perfect. Hall light on all night. Poor fitting door let light into room. Lack of microwave. Back rooms have a car park view. Hallways need redecorating. cafe closed early Saturday. nothing comes to mind. Screen door did not lock and "loose" fitting lock on main glass sliding door, which was a concern re.security Lack of plates & cutlery in relation to dining in room - as there was no "room service" after 2pm, consideration should be given to providing these "utensils" if occupants choose to purchase "take- away" for their evening meal. lighting in batroom requires updating -poor lighting over sink area. Bed was uncomfortable. Carpets on the stairs and hallways need to be replaced as that bring the place down. Some noise from nearby club on Friday night. The normal room was nicer than the Spa Suite we had Shower screen let water onto the floor Floor drain bubbled over after washing hair. Nothing. Thin walls. Swearing neighbours. Needed a refresh of glasses and mugs after first night Sofa bed needs to go in the bin asap, it's dangerous. rather funny orientation . wd be better if parking end of unit was made more solid with an ordinary door , so attention was directed towards the attractive garden at the other end. I thought the rooms might supply a toaster and some bowls and cultery as I do like to have a snake late at night. The staff weren't friendly and made me feel like I was disturbing them when trying to check in. The shower head !!. nothing, we were very happy with everything no concerns. nothing. Carpark looks shabby.... not a great first impression ...but surprised at the quality once you step inside. Door was ill fitting. Let in too much light and noise. hard bed. Pool needed a little more attention.
