Comfy and clean room. In fact, spa room is the best one I ever seen in motels. Pool and outdoor area adds up to relaxing atmosphere. Would be ideal for romantic getaway. For someone who likes cooking own meals, like we do, there's also a public kitchen and dining area, and they can bring a microwave to the room on request. Very helpful, friendly staff who were only too willing to assist in any matters. They suggested the best place to dine out and even organised a courtesy bus for our pick up and return. The staff were friendly and chatty and even threw in a free cooked breakfast one morning for us. We couldn't fault them.
alle vurderinger » Owners are friendly, helpful people who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The motel has a comfortable atmosphere and a great outdoor area where other travellers can meet. Rooms are spacious and clean. We were there during a heat-wave, the air-con was very efficient and the pool was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful staff. Great spa room. The shuttle bus service was a bonus to getting to the other venues. All up i would stay there again and would not hesitate to refer my friend. Thank you to the friendly stsff for an tnjoyable weekend. :-). Would love to say Karen and Dean where awesome they made our stay there fantastic they went out of their way to help us and OMG Karens breakfast was to die for my son asked if we could take her home so she could cook us breakfast every morning lol. The booking was filled fast and friendly,The room was clean and comfortable.Some transport was available if required.Breakfast was available contrary to your (letsbookhotel.com)information sheet/Booking confirmation. Staff very obliging, welcoming and helpful. Free breakfasts delivered to the door at our choice of time were generous and delicious. Internet problem was fixed promptly. Great value!. My visit was a business trip. I was very happy with the accommodation, the staff and the friendly admosphere. Very happy to stay there again when I need to visit the Echuca area. Staff were very friendly and anything we wanted they were willing to accommodate our needs ! Pool was clean relaxing and enjoyable - bbq was excellent all utensils available. The motel staff were very nice, the motel was very near The Echuca Truck Show (convenient) and the Chinese restaurant recommended by the Motel staff was excellent. A budget motel but adequate for a short stay. Very nice cooked breakfast included in tariff. Our room was quiet away from noise of passing traffic. The room arrangement was good and conducive to family. Allowing children to sleep seperately from adults who could sleep at a different time. The staff went out of their way to assist. The value for money was brilliant and the place had plenty of room for our trailers/ boats etc. The beds were comfortable Facilities/furniture in the room were new,good & very clean The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. I loved everything about the river gum motel, the staff were amazing, it was such a relaxing and great atmosphere!. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms felt very warm and comfortable. It was a great stay. Owners very helpful. Lots of parking as we had a large trailer. Very quiet even though it was on the highway. We had the best tune staff very friendly and helpful I will be recommending thisorninhthis to all my friends. The lady in the office was great very accommodating to our needs.. The standard of the motel was OK.It was clean,comfortable & reasonably priced for our overnight stay. Staff were friendly. I booked the spa room believing it would be larger than normal which it was but could not take advantage of the spa due to outside family commitments & the vertical blind issue. Karen the receptionist was friendly and could not have been more friendly. The refurbished bathroom and large shower was excellent. it was very clean and comfortable and budget friendly. Affordable and comfortable. Nothing really. A bit pricey, far from the town centre, old air conditioner is noisy even on low (though worked very well). Nothing. No negative from us :). The old two seater couch had had it's day,when the wife sat on it she had to be helped out as it had collapsed. Nothing. For some, the location might be not great, as not in the centre if town. But for us, this was of no concern whatsoever. No plates to eat from but overall v happy. Room heating was not adequate for the time of the year. Bathroom heater didn't work. Nothing that would stop me from staying here again or recommending it.... Furniture configuration in the room - maybe rejig it a little? Lack of sufficient heating. Nothing!!!!!!!. Bed was a bit too firm for us. Nothing we dusliked. Nothing. Had limited hot water. Only the one thing, bed a little saggy. nothing. Heating! - Little reverse cycle aircon did not heat room well. Found it hard to adjust shower, but we have the same setup at home and have the same problem. Not really an issue as such. nothing. The reverse cycle heating was set very low and not adjustable. we were barely warm enough in heavy clothing. Lighting was poor, especially for applying makeup. No face washer. location somewhat industrial. The heating was poor. bed too hard. My only issue was that the vertical blinds adjacent to the doorway were missing one blade (? in wardrobe) and another was not fitted correctly-- allowing light to enter, disturbing in the morning if you face that way while in bed. It also affected any "privacy" in the room. I would only recommend the motel if/when this issue is corrected. The only negative was the small couch was uncomfortable to sit on but realise it was probably capable of being converted to a bed so the discomfort was inherent in its design. Fresh paint smell remained but only temporary. it was advertised for 77 dollars a night 7 days a week and we were charged 89 and we were not told about the free breakfast that was available maybe it was false advertising that wasnt understood. No microwave or dvd player. Rooms and bathrooms extremely tired, tiles bulging off shower walls, drapes shredded and old, 3 cups, only one teaspoon, no information about breakfast, hard to see even though located right on the highway, just dreary really. The Electric blankets did not work,curtains did not close properly,decor very outdated.
