the beautiful ocean breeze and views. the staff were very accommodating and friendly. the spacious chalet, clean and fully equipped. very quiet. just out of town but not too far out. Views out over the ocean. Good price (thank you for the upgrade). Very clean and space was great for two people. This place is amazing. So much for children to do. Loads of space between chalets. A view to die for!.
alle vurderinger » the whole 2 days were wonderful... watching the sun go down with a glass of wine all goog. i like how friendly all the people their were. Lovely friendly manager who was very helpful. It was a good set up for taking the dog. It was warm and comfortable. There were enough cooking & eating utensils. It was clean. I would definitely return there. Simple, easy to find, bed clean I arrived late and key was readily accessible. I left very early so did not see the rest of the village. Close to our family in Geraldton. Excellent ocean view and scenery.Good location. Easy to take day trips. Chapman Valley, Greenough, etc. Clean & comfortable basic/budget accommodation. air conditioner worked. It was clean. The view. To far away from Melbourne Vic. the air con struggled to keep the small cabin cool but most people would not just sit around the cabin all day so it was not a big deal. People who were allowed their yappy agressive little dogs out of their vans, I feel is unsafe & annoying. The staff were not helpful/knowledgable regarding directions to the beach and, more importantly, fishing info [what fish are caught, what bait to use, where to go etc]. I would have thought they would make it a point to find out, even if fishing is not their thing. Noise from trucks thru night. Second stay in 4 months, but this will be the last. Our 2 birth cabin with en-suite, was lacking in tlc and maintenance. Although very clean, had to lean something on fridge door to keep closed,door seal broken, double bed had soak well hole in middle, just kept rolling and sliding to it, new shower head, but twenty year old water heater, hot cold, hot cold, no shower on last night, to stressful, down on hands and knees to use microwave. $145, per night?. Very close to busy road.. Lots of background traffic noise at all times of the day/night!. fridge and remote didnt work, cabin right next to main highway and incrediblly noisy. Close to main road so a lot of noise, particularly heavy trucks. no ablutions with a two bedroom apartment bit poor I think and an extra $30 for a 2 year old a bit steep. Poor description of accommodation, no bathroom in "cottage". Old Cabin Air/Con Noisy Lack of Smile from Employees Too Expensive for this kind of accommodation. Entire place inside and out was dirty. Windows filthy. 2 lights did not work. Shower mixer not mixing. Switch on gas stove did not work and had to go to office and get electric starter. No instructions for operation of anything in the unit or park rules. Very disappointing and way over charge for value. I would never stay here again.
