The apartment was well appointed and serviced every day. The bus stop into the City was just around the corner running every half hour, the trip only taking 15-20 mins. The local shopping centre is only 2-3 mins. Up the road and has everything you need. Staff were friendly and obliging. Unit were only 2-3 mins by taxi from the intercity railway station. We were there for business and pleasure. Very clean and quite spacious. Loved the pool. Liked having a small balcony. The location is fantastic - close to great restaurants and shops and the Bus Depot Markets. We could walk down to the fireworks on Saturday night.We had a great time! Staff were helpful and friendly.
alle vurderinger » We stayed at Pinnacle some time ago on a previous trip. We were pleased to see the property had been well maintained was clean and comfortable. The price is reasonable and the facilities of a good to very good standard. We will look to stay there again on a future trip and are happy to recommend. Space in kitchen, lounge room, dining. Dual aspect, leafy, quiet, off street secure parking, easy walk to Kingston cafes & restaurants, easy car travel to city centre or cycle access to lake. We enjoyod our stay in a clean and fresh environment away from home.Cannot say much except to say that whenever i go to Canberra that will be the first place to book and recommend to friends. We stayed at a 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious with nice decor. It was in a good location with walking distance to shops and restaurants. There was free secure parking on site. Stayed at the Pinnacles for many years now with my Volleyball team.....its convienient, clean...easy....love it....will be there next year too..... The space,the gym.the views via some of the windows, the spa,the balcony and other facilities made pinnacle feel like home. My children loved it. It was a lovely place offering good value for money. I stayed in four bedroom apartment (six kids varying ages) and thought it great. Very comfortable and perfect for 2 couples (from Sydney and visiting couple from Canada). Had everything you need for a short stay. Very nice apartment and location. Lots of surrounding shops and points of interest. Will book with Pinnacle Apartments in future. Lots of couch space and room space especially for tall family, loved two bathrooms. Cleaning staff friendly but not encroaching. Location is very good, close to many restaurants/cafes, and is convenient for Canberra's many attractions. Off street parking. Location and size of the apartment was excellent for our needs. It accommdated 6 adults easily and was comfortable. Comfortable facilities, good location close to shops and to parliamentary zone, plenty of space in the apartment. My kids liked the apple technology used for the TV. I liked the kitchen setup which was spacious and clean. Ground floor unit, warm and comfortable once heating on. clean , comfortable,and has everything you need ,walking distance to restaurants & cafes. The shower in the very high spa was not conducive with people suffering arthritis. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed and the location is perfect for local restaurants and sightseeing/tourist attractions. Nothing. Suggest that there is a receptacle for recycling as well as a rubbish bin. We had to take our recycling home!. Bedside tables too big making bed orientation to head under window in spare bedroom only option(not good) unless replace bedside table with chair) which I did! Could be easily fixed with smaller tables. nothing. The sound proof was not very good. We could hear people leaving/arriving in the early morning. The plumbing was very noisy and both toilets leaked. The noise factor was important because we had a baby and a toddler who liked to sleep in a quiet place. No elevator to the 3rd floor and narrow outdoor staircase. Internal stairs were narrow at the midway-turn and not kid safe. No confirmation step in purchase of online movies (dangerous with the remote in the hands of the 7yr old...). Lacked wardrobe space. Could have done with an extra towel for drying hair! The frying pan was tiny and there wasn't an ovenproof casserole dish or baking dish to cook a pasta bake in!. Noticing the rooms are getting abit worn....my mate got locked in the bathroom, becasue the lock is abit worn....no drama really.....we got her out with no damage to her...or the door....gave us a giggle.... To be honest we were busy taking in the likes but it would have been good to have a place to eat that doesn't require a driving distance especially when you are counting on cabs for mobility. Office staff fairly unfriendly, particular to my eldest daughter who arrived before me and wasn't to know whether I had paid or not. Bathroom sink cold water tap hard to turn off and security chain coming away from front door. Not enough plates and bowls as there were only 6-7. Need an oven tray for chips. Air con heating inadequate for a Canberra winter. No electric blankets. Only one single power point at Queen bed head, but two bedside lamps and a clock. Noisy plumbing, and shower access not easy over the high sill of the spa. Stairwell light switch at ground level nowhere near foot of stairs. We prepared our own evening meals and therefore ate in, so the lack of a sharp knife was considered a drawback. Spa in the room was nice, but was the only option, as the shower was in the spa as well. For older people, getting over the lip of the spa for a shower is a bit of a trial. Parking spaces were really tight in carpark. Air con unit very noisy at night so had to switch off, couldn't sleep. Arrived late (8pm), unit freezing on arrival, not ideal with small children. Long queue at checkout and only 1 staff. No corkscrew. all good. A bit noisy at times with a couple of basketball teams staying in the complex... they were quiet at night. No cushion on lounges and lounge a bit uncomfortable. Only 1 TV would have been good to have a second one. Nothing.. If anything, the spa could do with a step to get in and out of. Noisy water pipes, lack of kitchen utensils, not enough information about Canberra and attractions at apartments. Lots of stairs to negotiate!. No fixed fan / Air conditioning in second bedroom. Very noisy if in apartment next to the stair well. Heating in the apartment was inadequate for the freezing Canberra nights, we were cold! Also, the twin beds in the second bedroom were tiny, better suited for young children than older children or adults. top floor was a little hard with kids. We stayed with my elderly mother and we were surprised that both showers had a very high step over bath arrangement. she had great difficulty getting in and out of the shower and it would have been helpful to have at least one bathroom with a normal low step shower. Traffic noise from adjacent street. Getting lost trying to follow walking directions from reception to room - no signs and stairs out of sight, the button to get out of the carpark hard to find, no lights outside so we could find our apt. Not enough parking - a bit of a crush when we got back from dinner. Unit did not have a lot of natural light. Internet didn't connect and being low tech did not bother. No other complaints. Shower in spa bath. It is dangerous getting in and out of the bath and totally unsuitable for anyone with even a slight physical impairment. Should be 'highlighted' in information on the property. This set up is not suitable for elderly people. gas water heater inside wardrobe, right beside our bed. Cold, more heating required during the winter months. Heaters maybe need updating to cope with cold weather. lack of parking space / lack of restrictions per apartment. Steps that lead up into spas. The desk staff were slow and the cleaning staff arrived late in the afternoon which was inconvenient after we had been out of our room all day.
