Good value for the price. All we needed was a bed and bath. Michelle, the desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Location is right outside vail village. Staff is very helpful and resourceful. Affordable, a bed to sleep in. Would probably stay there again. Price and location. Bus stop is easy to get to. Cost, Location, Staff, No-Frills. Low price for good lodging.

The shuttle pick up was within walking distance to go to Vail Village The Staff was very helpful. It'S. A truly funky old-time ski lodge at the lowest price in the "up -scale Vail, co!. Good location, easy to catch ski shuttle bus, basic room. Clean & convenient for me this time. On free in town bus route. location and price. Location. If you need a place to crash in the Vail/Beaver Creek area that is cheap, this is the place. The desk assistant was very helpful with telling us how to get around town easily. Office staff friendly and willing to attempt repair of items not working well. The staff was nice and lodge was on the bus line. Cheap. the staff. Spot on the rug. No WiFi coverage in rooms. WiFi Coverage in Lobby only. No air conditioning, which would have been fine in Vail except the room window faces the freeway, and it's only about 300 yards from the freeway. So that side of the hotel is fairly noisy for sleeping with the window open. I would have probably slept better on the back side away from I-70. Beds are kinda hard and bedding is slightly worn out. Not fancy but it is a cheap place to sleep and be right by Vail Mountain. Nothing. Refrigerator wasn't plugged in , found out after plugging it in it leaked water. Used a towel and unplugged it when we left. Also reported it to front desk. Room was hard to find as it was after office hour and had no directions. The carpet and rooms are older, with no air conditioning in the room. It was a very cold night, but the room temp. Was 58 to 64f. a leftover bag of McD trash was in an otherwise tidy room. No stoppers in sink/tub. Really thin/worn sheet & no extra blanket. A classic, funky place of good value. Ran out of orange juice/bagels late in morning for continental breakfast some mornings. Phones are not always manned. No wifi in the rooms. Lounge/ office opens late and closes early (10pm) Very difficult parking when the motel is full. Shower diverter malfunctions Rm 225. not clean - dirty bathroom, stuff on the carpet. Noisy highway nosiy creaking floors above, poor maid service. Its not the Ritz Carlton, nor the Motel 6. It is rough plain and worn down, though it it will do for a night. The bed was terrible. The room was smelly, dirty, and the AC/Heater was broke...it was stuck at 90 degrees. By the time we got back to our room, the staff had left for the night - making us deal with the 90 heat through the night. Tv didn't work correctly with remote (reported to office)Tub not clean and filled up with water when showering (reported to office). No hair dryer. Woodwork needed repair. Thermostat upside down and difficult to know temperature of unit (generally too hot & waste of energy). Office opened late (7:30 A.M.) & wouldn't let customers in at 7:25 A.M. Walks weren't shoveled so I shoveled them. Rate of $99 too high for off-season (April 14). Small uncomfortable room. No place to sit. TV was small and so high it was hard to watch. Bathroom floor was dirty as was the shower curtain! Breakfast was suppose to be at 7:30 and building was locked no one there!. The place is completely run down and in need of updating. The bathroom light flickered. There was no phone in the room even though there was supposed to be. The sheets on the bed kept coming off. not clean as could be and old breakfast did not start till 7:30 lifts open at 8:30. no a/c could not sleep at nite had to keep window open and heard all the traffic you should mention no ac not right you dont. not clean, not comfort, value $ 40 not more ,I would like get some $ back.
