We had a wonderful trip. We rented a small cabin and though there was no heat, that was just fine. The temperature wasn't too cold and it only encouraged us to snuggle up at night making for an even more romantic weekend. The staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly. And though the shower doesn't look that great, it is one of the best showers I've ever used, just need to give it a minute for the water to heat up. If we come down to the area again, we will definitely consider this locati.
alle beoordelingen » I had a business meeting near Portland. Wanting an extra day at the beach which is wonderful. I was lucky in a tiny cabin away from the main road. It was quiet. I felt safe, could walk to the beach. Nothing fancy, but quite comfortable for my purpose. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The cottage I stayed in was very cute and a perfect size, and great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach. The owner was a nice man-new to the business. The room was clean and exactly what I hoped for. Minutes from the beach. definitely be back again!. The employee kindly welcomed us. The room was small but comfortable, well ventilated and well organized. Tucked away a little from beach crowd; traffic noise acceptable. Helpful staff. The new owners were friendly and eager to make sure everything was up to snuff. the pool is great...easy access for all. Also the staff/owner are wonderful. Close to the beach. It was a little noisy at night with the road right next to the cottages. Pool wasn't open yet. we could hear the neighbor snoring. Parking ticket on side street!. the cabin/cottage air conditioner was not strong enough for the heat wave we had when I was there. Also the blinds were not sufficient to block out the sun. The cabin needs a proper mirror in the bathroom./or bedroom. The windows were hard to open/close. No blinds in the windows. Once sun is up - difficult to sleep due to light in the room. Area for smoking outside our door. People up very late and talking could be heard. Difficult to sleep. The shower needs improvement/ out dated. Could use better reading lights over beds. Did not like no refund policy and felt that the price was too high for the type of room it was. Thought that $125.00 per night would have been more in line. Realize though that lodging near the ocean do cost more. The bed needs updating (very hard) the bathroom floor was stapled down (bathroom need updating). The mini refrigerator door would not shut all the way. The bathroom was small. A little to close to traffic, no coffee maker in the the cabin.parking was not convenient for a big vehicule. Bathroom was never cleaned from last people still had open soap in shower and shaver in shower. The bed very hard like a sofa bed. Stank like mold! Stove and sink together unsafe!!. bathroom was to small,needs a lot of work. Internal finish, shower, heating , mattress,. everything.
