The manager was soooo helpful in showing us where we could hike. The waffles for breakfast were different 4 minis instead of a large one, good idea. They let us have our dog there. People were very friendly. Very close walking distance to restaurants. It was a great price and good location. I liked the price. The staff was friendly and attentive. When we booked online, we didn't see that there was a pool on the property. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see one.

Great location to the fairgrounds in MT. toilet was not clean in bowl, the works you can get at walmart works great to keep clean... Rooms need to be remodeled/updated, room 242 smelled musty/smokey. The heat in the room didn't work... The room was adequately clean, but not top-notch clean. For example, there was a sugar packet wrapper in the bathroom, some grout residue on the bathroom sink counter, and a dead insect on the carpet near the entry. The room had been cleaned, however, and the sheets were fresh. It was good enough for our needs. The place was under construction.... I was having a nice shower, when the water turned suddenly scalding hot . I was pink and sore for two days afterwards on my lower chest and upper belly ... 1) Buffet breakfast 2) Dilapidated fitness center 3) Cops knocking on other hotel guests' room ... I really wonder about the safety of the location!. Drain in sink was clogged when we arrived. It was cleared the next day but sink was not cleaned. One of the rooms was not made up on our arrival-- we were moved to another room. One room had no soap or shampoo, no refrig or microwave---the other did. The second day one of the rooms was not made up although towels etc. were delivered. The room was filthy. The carpets had stains, the room smelled like cigarettes, the T.V. wouldn't turn on, the heater was borken, the towels were dirty. It was horrible and gross!. Not a $90/night maybe $60. Rundown & tired. Breakfast @ 8:30am had little too ffer and was not resupplied. Motel was under construction no pool no hot tub as advertized.not what I expected from the howard johnson quality. The rooms were in great need of an upgrade. The breakfast included in the cost of the room had rancid orange juice, coffee pots were just for looks (no staff around to make coffee), the front desk refused to give the convention discount that we were advised upon check in to ask for. Overall, not a pleasant stay. Room unclean & unkept. Will not stay there again. Should get credit or refund.
