I was uninformed when booking that when checking in that when purchasing the room with cash I would be required to put forth a $100 deposit and the full amount of the room prior to the nights stay. However, the hotel receptionist waived this requirement and made an exception to the rule due to the failure of this disclosure prior to my arrival. She was very nice and it did not inconvenience my trip.
alle beoordelingen » The separate "living room" area in the room. The close proximity to interstate, restaurants, stores, and points of interest. Staff member allowed us to use his personal corkscrew! All staff were extremely friendly. The size of the room was bigger than most motel rooms. We like the protective covering on the bed for the suitcases. It was clean. I loved the cinnamon bread at breakfast. The hospitality was great. Love the rooms and the entire hotel. Will always look for this particular hotel when traveling. The room was clean smelled great and was quite spacious. The staff was beyond accomodating for my added requests. convenience to hospital and doctor appointments, restsurants, and shopping. excellent value. +Check in was great! Very helpful when I had to add a room because of a family emergency. we liked everything our room was so nice and cleaned and the employees were really nice. Easy access from highway and comfort of room space & Queen beds at a great rate!. The rooms were great, and the pool and hot tub, was a real plus. The bed where neat and clean. Great breakfast. size... living room separate from bedroom. Staff friendly got me in room early. Location, price. The beds were comfy and the rooms were big. The beds were comfy and the room was huge. Continental breakfast was good. It was close to the highway. Nothing. Other than the misinformed information, nothing. It was a pleasant stay. Very helpful and delightful on all accounts. Telephone was dirty. Bed sheets were not changed daily (a must in a hotel!). The light flickered in the bathroom and the maintenance man wasn't there that night to fix it. The toilet seat was loose and the air conditioning didn't cool our room very well. We like bathrooms with the sink and mirror in the same place as the shower. We often bring someone outside of the family, so we need the privacy for dressing. We missed the waffle maker that most motels have now. The Pool was broke during my stay and the availability of a pool was one of the reasons for choosing Baymont as a place to stay. It actually ruinned some my weekend plans and it was too late to find a replacement hotel that was affordable with the amenities I desired. the hotel is being redone so there is some noise and some mess, however when that is completed it will be wonderful. disappointed that they are getting rid of the hot tub. In double queen room, only 1 chair was provided and it was a desk chair that was broken. Could get a face lift of the building and stale/smoky smell in the room. no ice machines on every floor. Stain carpet, and the sink stop up and started to leak. breakfast selections were limited. Old tv. Needs some work on inside. Room very gloomy and in need of update (carpet frayed, spots on the wall) - very musty smell. We have stayed there before and this time we weren't able to stay because the room had a stale smoke smell and we requested NO SMOKING. The hotel needs major upgrades, the bathroom smelled so bad I almost couldn't stand it. The breakfast was decent but the hostess was rude and they shut it down at 9.00am sharp during the weekend even if people were still eating. The only fruit served was oranges. The carpets were filthy. Walls were dirty and banged up. Hot tub was not even warm and pool was freezing. Overall the room was very outdated and not very comfortable, the pull out which was to sleep two was impossible, it was incredibly uncomfortable, so the kids had to cram 3 to a bed while an adult slept on the couch. The room was not clean either. It was quite disappointing but we were only there one evening on the way back from florida. Poor furnishings, shabby appearance. Not what I expected for what I had to pay. Very dirty, room had wet rug. Windows dirty. Noisey near midnight. Needs updating. Watched a car hit another car. Floors were FILTHY....ruined our socks but didn't want to walk barefoot. Our clean clothes reeked of a musty odor and the extra I took have to be washed upon arriving home. This is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in and the 1st Baymont....NEVER Again!! When commentting to Mgr about the floors, his excuse was new owners were coming in a month and they didnt have time to clean the carpets.
