I like the fact that the hotel was close to he beach. It was just across
the street. It was also close to activities. The price was reasonable,
but you get what you pay for.
I like how close the beach was. I also like how big the room is. Had mini fridge and microwave.
The location was good. It was just a short walk from hotel to the sea
wall and beach.
The owners/staff were very friendly and we loved them.
It was the cheapest I could find last minute.
just one block away from seawall, AC worked.
Close to the beach. S\Staff were friendly.
It was reasonably priced for what you got.
just the location.
Close to water.
Location.
Nothing.
Nothing the website was very misleading we where charged more than the
quote on internet...
Absolutely nothing. This place is a dump.
Location to the beach and grocery store.
Close to where I wanted to be.
Nothing nice dirty old place.
The hotel served my purpose.
There was nothing to like.

Nothing.
Older hotel that needs some updating on the exterior.
The tv was not so good and coffee, towel, pillow. You need it to be soft.
The sink leaked and the carpet was wet all in front of the sink, that was just disgusting.
When we told the staff our fridge didn't work he said that a fridge
doesn't come with the room and it is a microwave stand. If it works
its a bonus. I'm happy I feed my 4 month old powdered formula and
not stuff that needed to be refrigerated.
The microwave was broke. Said we could use the one in the lobby but it was broke, too. We never got the remote to work. We had to get our own clean towels. The whole 2 days we were there, no one cleaned our room. There was sand all over the floor.
The hotel was old, it needs to be up-graded. Need better beds, tv, and
furniture. The linens on the bed were old, the towels were hard. The
bathroom could use a coat of paint.
We went into room and there was a funny smell. Turned on AC and about 10mins later it started leaking water all over the floor. Carpet was soaking wet. Our bed you could feel the springs when laying on it. That night you could see car lights come in under the door because of the gap. Looks on the outside of hotel were not appealing at all. We were very neverous staying at this hotel. Not a good feeling.
The hotel was extremely run down with broken furniture in the room.
There was no remote for the tv and no way to adjust volume. The internet
stated complimentary breakfast buffet that did not exist. What was
offered was a prepackaged bannana muffin, coffee, and orange juice. Not
what I would call a buffet. This impacted my budget. The hotel had a
pool but it had no water.
This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I honestly would not have stayed if any other hotel had any rooms available.
But it wasn't as nice as it looked in the pictures online. The
pillows sucked and the toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor.
The mini fridge was really loud every time it clicked on it would
wake us up.
There is not a breakfast. They had poor coffee, Tang drink, and generic honey buns. That was all. Towels were hard and stained, you could smell natural gas from their dryers, the doors/frames were all rusted, the walls needed painting, the DVD player in the kids room didn't work.
Dirty, pool not open had to ask. Price way too much, have stayed in very
nice accommodation for $128 a night. The hotel smelled of Curry the
whole stay. Window, fridge, microwave not clean had to ask for a
different room. I believe my booking was for the hotel on the seawall
which would explain the price. This hotel was 1 star at best. The
breakfast was a mini muffin and Tampico juice, no cereal, milk donuts.
Not very clean needed to be remodeled kinda smelled.
not clean, not enough towels and too expensive for the room of very poor condition!.
Mold, dirty. Smells of cigars. Never again.
Bath room door was warped so would only close half way! The mirror was
not on the wall(it was put on floor behind frig). Fish Bait was left in
frig from previous renters stay!!!.
It took almost an hour to check in due to they couldn't locate the reservation. The room was dirty, musty, and had roaches. The microwave almost caught fire at the electrical cord. When we called the office, they wouldn't exchange the microwave. They told us to bring our food to the lobby to warm it.
We paid over $200.00 for a room that would normally cost about $70.00. The room was dirty. Some of the lights in the room were not working, including the one over the lavatory/vanity. The air-conditioning system was marginal.
Seems to be a disconnect with the booking company and management of
ABI&S. I modified my reservations and management was oblivious.
Also, my modification stated a king room and I was put into a dbl
queen. When the ac failed I was then moved to a king room. I make the
bed in my room daily, but it would have been nice to have had the
garbage taken out.
The walls were stained, like somebody put dirty hands on them.
It is a low class, low end place that could almost be described as a
dump. Only hotel I ever stayed out that charged a deposit on key... Only
one ice machine by office downstairs... Needed repair and paint,
furniture damaged... Many more things... Will never stay there again.
There was mold on the bathroom ceilings and the nightstand and telephone were broke. We asked the front desk for extra towels twice because we were denied the first time. The lady at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.
No pool working.. Not a working hair drier working...and had a smell...
I will not stay there again.. I will tell others bout the bad hotel.
Everything. There were roaches on the walls.
Large cigarette burns in the bedding, mold growing everywhere in the
bathroom, sink leaked, room smelled, pool was closed...etc.
Price, smell, roaches,Dirty, charged two nights stayed only one. 5 asked
if I would recommend Galveston I said Yes but would not recommend
Americas Best!!!!!!!!!.
accross from an old cemetery nasty dirty view verry unclean add said breakfast buffet but all there was old coffee and powered OJ.
Amount charded for. One night stay was too costly.
The place was a dump.By for the worse place I have stayed.
EVER THING !!!!!!!
The rooms smelled real bad.
The furnture was falling apart.
Ther was a condom in our bed.
The non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes.
There were holes in the walls.
There were no where to hange your clothes.
everything.
This were the most run down hotel I have ever stayed in. Actual when I went to bed there was something on the sheets. Not a clean place it was horrible.
dirty, filthy room, tv didnt work, roaches, empty toilet paper roll, nasty stains on comforter and cigarette holes! disgusting place and way overpriced!!!!!.
Everything.
it is A rat hole.
Rooms were filthy. Stunk. Stained carpet and furniture. First room was
so bad we had to be moved. Had ants crawling all over the bed.
Not clean and found condemns and pariphinalia inside.
This hotel was very overpriced. The continental breakfast was sunny delight and the smallest honeybun I've ever seen.
