the free breakfast was the best free breakfast I have ever had!!! The grounds were beautiful and well kept!!!! I would come and come again. It was in between Asheville and Hendersonville so plenty to do if I wanted to do anything at all. Absolutely a lovely place to stay. We stayed in cabin very nicely equipped, clean, all the great soaps, lotion, comfortable bed. But the food at their Inn is exceptional, gourmet! lovely place, plan on going back!.

Pleasant staff. The grounds are beautiful and the food at the restaurant on the grounds was fabulous. They also have a very nice swimming pool and free kayak and bike rentals. Very nice!. The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were very clean and pretty and the grounds were nice even though it was mid-November. The quiet rustic nature of Woodward house. The delicious breakfasts and very delectible dinner at on site Seasons restaurant. Beautiful location ! Amazingly clean room! GREAT VALUE! Try the on property Season's Restaurant! Wow! We will be back. Class act. Quiet, peaceful, picturesque from every angle. A bit pricey, but worth it when you consider what is included. The food was outstanding, the staff was professional and knowledgable. Very relaxing place needing more time to enjoy. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing. The property was well maintained and very "camp like" but more like a "Mountain Retreat". Everything - then location and accommodations were perfect for our needs. The on-site dining was well above average both for dinner and for breakfast (full, included). Location. Quiet atmosphere. the cabin I booked was way toooooo small and had a funky smell. The pingpong table was great but they need to splurg for some new paddles. Absolutely not a thing!. N/A. The décor is a little outdated in the rooms and the bedding could be improved. King size bed not quite comfortable for us. Not one thing!. Nothing!. To hot to be running around outside. Bathroom was dated and too small for the room. nothing. Maid Service parked their car and blocked driveway to lodge...seems like they could have parked around back. We were hoping to use the pool, but it is closed on Monday until noon. Couldn't they work it out to do the pool cleaning on Sunday?. music form wedding venue loud enough to be heard at night in our room. Security guard waking you when he walks up to cabins porch 7:30 in the morning. Room was located in the "lodge", a nice facility but we were the only occupied room out of 20 or so. A bit spooky. Staff should have advised and offered options. Lodge facility has too many steps Should have stayed somewhere else on property.
