The only thing that I could say is that there was black stains on the bed sheet with what look like a black hair sticking up in the centre of it. Other than that, our stay was really nice. We would go back and stay at the Red River Lodge :). Great room for the price, comfortable bed and very very clean. Appreciated the update TV and we were pleased to our request for the quietest room was considered and well met. Staff at check in and out were both very nice.
alle beoordelingen » I was in town for the Fargo 1/2 Marathon and they were thoughtful enough to make a bag breakfast for all participants. I was amazed by that. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean. Room was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast included apples, oranges, waffles with syrup, coffee, tea, juices, bread, bagels, cream cheese, jam, peanut butter and hard boiled eggs. Fabulous location, very close to shopping, dining, and the Interstate. Friendly staff. Nicely-appointed rooms. Good quality wall-mounted TV in room. Hotel was conveniently located to where my activities were being held. Room had desk and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful. I especially like that this hotel is close to the shopping mall and shopping areas. The rooms were dark at night, and the beds were comfortable. Very nice motel, we loved the location as us girls were X-mas shopping & close to every place we shopped. We will stay their again. For an independent hotel it was VERY clean and cost effective. If you need a bed, bathroom (the basics) this place fits the bill. Location and price. Close to resturants and shopping. The price is good. The bed was excellent. Simple comfortable hotel. The price I got through letsbookhotel.com was reasonable, but I noticed that the room rates listed on the back of my door were 3 times what I paid. Those rates were ridiculous. I liked the fact that they had a bar unfortunately my flight didnt come in till 830pm and had to get up in the morning so didnt have time this time. Good value for the money. Is an older place but was clean and comfortable. Fine for overnight stay. The location and price. Lots of pillows. clean rooms, friendly staff. The staff was very nice. Price, friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and ample pillows. Not much. A bad smell persisted in the air outside the hotel. Didn't care for rusty bathroom parts but also accepted it for the price I paid. For sanitation reasons, I would prefer not to have the hardboiled eggs pre-peeled and sitting on a plate on the counter. I would like to peel the eggs myself. Continental breakfast had moldy bread and overripe oranges, which could have been remedied quite easily had anyone bothered to check. Also, the exterior lock on the side entrance was broken. Late check-in time (7-8pm) meant waiting about 10 min for staff to come check me in. Couldn't figure shower handle out, ended up scalding my hand. The bathroom area was almost too small to dry off from the shower and dress. There was no real vanity space. The outside doors banged throughout the night. Not that we did not like, but the hotel is starting to show some wear. A bit tricky to find, and a bit farther from town than I would have liked, but really these are minor complaints. Nothing seriously wrong with the place. The deco is a little update. Breakfast was disappointing. no blow dryer in room bed lumpy breakfast area dark. Back door to hotel was open to anyone. Lock was broken Missed not having fridge or microwave. Back entry door was icy and needed to be kept more safe. more varity at breakfast. did not get internet in the room. small bathroom. The bath room toilet did not flush most of the time, and the room was not very clean. The lighting was dim and insufficient. continental breakfast could have more variety. It was a little musty smelling in the room. Room was not very clean. Hair and dirt in the corners of the bathroom and stains on the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. We booked by credit card but we paid cash. We did not see on the website that we would have to pay a deposit. It worked out ok but I prefer to be prepared. Breakfast was not much. We had to turn around because of the white out on feb. 17Th. Called and asked if we could get our same room, while we waited the storm out. We left at about 1:30 to get to baudette mn and you charged me an additional night, when we didn't stay. Thought I was taken advantage of because of the weather. Breakfasts were bad. Didnt eat there. poor solection and quality of food. The breakfast that is included with your room currently ends t 10 am. It should be extended to 11 am. The maid pounding at my door at 9 am telling me to check out was not pressure. Lack of towels in the room. There were only enough for one person in a double occupancy room. Because the sign for the partnered bar is so prominent, it was hard to determine where the entrance for the hotel was. The rooms were clean but the room we stayed in could use some upkeep. The electric outlet was damaged and there was no door security latch. Rear security entry didn't lock. Dingy..poor lighting, in need of some work, caulking black, dirt caked on tile in bathroom, paint cracked and pealing above sink, hole in wall behind door, their vaccume must not work well. no air in the hallways, breakfast not restocked fast enough. There were toxic chemicals throughout the entire hotel -- I'm not sure if it was air fresheners or the carpets were just cleaned, but I had to sleep with the windows open and still felt like I'd smoked a pack of cigarettes after staying there for one night. The room was very small and the bed uncomfortable. Felt very seedy and dated. Not sure the big lounge chair had ever been cleaned. Your exercise room. The treadmill did not work, needed to lube the belt and the bike had a broken belt.....what's the purpose if a person thinks there is a workout room and then gets there and not a thing works. Rather disappointing. ambience of hotel and room felt depressing & a little grotty. Person at the desk when we came in was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The first room had a strong sour smell so we asked for a different one. They obliged but the second room had the same smell...just not as strong. The breakfast was very minimal. Not worth the hassle. Itinerary said hair blower, there wastuffy till we left room.s none. No tissue in room and we could not breathe well during the night while heater ran ~ felt like bacterial contaminants blowing through and we got sick & when I spoke to manager she would not acknowledge the problem or offer any compensation or discount. It was a horrible night sleep. It was tiny. Loud a/C. Musty. Shower was tiny. Bathroom was tiny. It was $60 which is outrageous for this location!. The breakfast they offered was terrible, frozen bagels , old bread, no microwave , old fruit And served in the hotel bar. Dirty.had to unplug lights or TV to use outlet. Very dirty bathroom floor and socks dirty from carpet.noisy.woman at front desk on phone arguing about an order and not very friendly Didn't want to hear about room condition. Said they had never had a complaint. Then I read the reviews and same things I complained about!. Everything...I lost money at the hotel because they wouldn't give me a refund/cancel my reservation. The place smells like mildew, no closets, no outlet to plug anything in. The bedding was filthy...It's just a gross hotel. I ended up moving to the Residence Inn...gorgeous new hotel.
