I liked that when I mistakenly left a bag next to my car and drove off without it (in Asheville, NC,a staff member found it and immediately turned it over to the management. It had all of my medications, jewelry, expensive camera equipment - everything most important to me - in it. I was extremely grateful for the person's honesty and integrity. I don't know who it was but the person deserves huge kudos. Hampton Inns are my favorite - once before (in Thomaston, ME)I left a precious ring. It.

We were greeted so kindly and was even given a gift certificate to a very nice restaurant as a gift for our anniversary. Even printed out menus so we could decide ahead if this would be a restaurant we would like to eat at. We were going to the Biltmore the Nxt day They gave us step by step directions to get there. We were very impressed we can't wait to go back and stay there again very soon. We liked convenience from interstate 40. Professional desk clerks, clean room and nicely furnished. Great breakfast. Definitely would stay again. Front desk staff was excellent giving us directions and recommendations. Much appreciated to strangers in a strange town. Dan and Kathy. Loved the bedding and the bed itself. Not typical of hotels in that price range. The decor was also very nice. Clean too. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good. they had real oatmeal at breakfast. Everyone on staff was so professional and nice. The bedding was great, the room felt so clean when you came in the door. I voiced my displeasure and was offered a much better room location. Not sure why it is rated as a 4 star property. The windows in the room were dirty. The overall cleanliness of the room was marginal, dust, etc. I expected more from Hampton Inn properties. Mattress was a little to hard for my back. One female front desk staff member not very friendly at all. It was like she didn't believe me on the bathroom. Bathtub was not cleaned very good. Hair. I cleaned the tub myself! I was not 100% satisfied. It will be awhile before I use you again. breakfast---eggs. Breakfast was terrible, eggs taste like rubber and price was to expensive for this type of inn. Room over pool, noisy until 10:00PM after being on the road for ten hours. Needed rest not pool noise. Exit staff was totally uncooperative when asked about Hilton Rewards program and booking thru your site. Requested a high floor and was given a room on first floor next to breakfast area. It was very loud in the morning.
