The renovation was A+, Im a designer so Im sensitive to design and layout and flow. It was grand but the price point wasn't, that rarely happens. We had a matvelous breakfast outside on the terrace we did not have dinner I would next time. We will def return. It was quiet also a plus it felt like a very samle very well run hotel. Great Job!. Everything about the Inn was comfortable and beautiful and not too self- concious. It was a very comfortable stay except for the part about carrying all our bags ourselves! The staff was terrific inculiding in the the dining room. Staff was very helpful with directions. Wish we could have stayed longer!.
alle beoordelingen » Lord Jeffrey is conveniently located near our daughter's college. She was our tour guide for the quaint New England town. We could walk to great restaurants, museums and hiking trails. We enjoyed visiting at the outdoor fireplace, and the fireplaces in both the private lobby and the main lobby. It's a beautiful place, romantic, old fashion, the restaurant is outstanding. The dinner and breakfast we had there were delicious. The crew helped us in every way we needed. Thank you, keep up the good work. The Alons. Perfect location on the edge of Amherst College. Lovely, stately historic property that is relaxed and comfortable. Restaurant is pricey but outstanding. Grounds are very pretty. I loved the sense of history and place through staying right in the heart of Amherst. The staff was also marvelous--so welcoming and friendly. Staff could not have been friendlier and made it a joy for dining. Rooms were clean & charming (mine had a fireplace). Food was delicious. Very comfortable hotel with lots of style and facilities. very helpful staff. Lovely historic inn. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. The Inn is beautifully appointed and very relaxing. Very pleasant staff always willing to help. General ambience. Renovations are great. The Design and everything... Everything. I was not offered help with our bags and it wasn't made clear upon arrival that it was a bit of a walk from their parking area (which did not accomodate enough cars)into the building and that there was neither valet or bell-hop. When all the parking spots were filled upon or return from dinner we had to park in the next adjacent lot after having to find a space to temporarily leave the car while I ran in to find out where there was legal parking. Our room was quite small and the fireplace was not functioning. I would have enjoyed morning coffee but I didn't discover it until our second morning at the Inn. The computer at the front desk should be in sync with the restaurant computer for ease in making dining reservations. The room was very nice and comfortable, but it could use a light in the closet, we always had to find something to keep the door open. Also, the fan didn't work in the bathroom. And the room could use a suitcase caddy. We had to keep ours on the floor, a bit of problem for older people. Nothing. Every detail is covered in the services provided. ...that our stay was only one night! We'll try and do better next time and stay several nights!. Breakfast not included in room rate. The flowers in the dining room are fake and Forsythia! The Fall flower arrangement possibilities are so much better suited to that room. Nothing, it was perfect!. small room. dinner problems. Nothing.
