  The hotel was in an ideal location in Windermere. We have just purchased a boat at the marina, and this was ideal for us. The hotel was excellent, food excellent, facilities excellent, and staff extremely helpful. We were greeted on the front desk by a gentleman called Giles, extremely helpful, brilliant first class service.   The hotel is situated within its own established grounds in a quiet location 15 minutes walk from the small village of Windermere and one and a half miles from Bowness-on-Windermere. The room was large and easily accessible with necessary facilities, the bathroom was again spacious (equipped for the disabled person) being a wet room with only a sh... wat mensen zeggen » ower, albeit the hotel is advertised as being suitable for people with visual impairments / physical disabilities as well as the able bodied. The hote - Loved everything about our stay here. Really friendly and helpful staff who are all a credit to the hotel. Room had great view across to the lake. Large comfy bed, loads of storage space, hot and powerful shower, huge bath towels and more. Would definitely recommend evening meal at hotel. Food cooked to order so served fresh and hot. We had soup followed by scampi and rump steak. Very filling, very tasty and very reasonably priced. Bottle of cabernet sauvignon also went down very well! Breakfas

  The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel was in the most amazing location with lake views that were absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself was fabulous from the decor to the food. Our room had the most perfect view of the lakes. Will most definitely be returning. Can't wait...   Great value B&B for myself and my baby. Our single room was upgraded to a tripple, cot and high chair were provided at no extra cost. Tv in lounge which we were able to use (but didn't). Clean and comfortable, close to Windermere, 20 mins walk to Bowness, free parking. Did the job of a b&b well. - The staff were very friendly.
