Julie contacted us prior to our arrival to make sure she would be in as this is a family run business and she's not in all the time before the official check-in time of 3pm. We expected to be arriving at around 1pm and contacted her 10 minutes prior to our arrival. Julie greeted us with a very big smile and advised us where to park to make use of her visitor's parking permit. Please note, you have to prebook this permit with Julie directly via email or phone once the room/rooms have been booked. alle beoordelingen »
We loved the very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Furnishings and decoration were of a very high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean. Having a fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities, was very welcome. Great value for money. No breakfast was not a problem, as there are plenty of eating places on the doorstep. We love the area and visit Weymouth regularly. From now on this will be our first choice for accomodation.
I stayed here for two nights with my daughter and granddaughter. The owners were very friendly and made my granddaughter feel very special. Our bags were carried to our room for us. We were given good advice on where to eat and go on a wet day. Highly recommended. We will be back and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Weymouth now we have found Twin Palms.
Twin palms is run by a very friendly, helpful polite couple. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The whole place was clean and tidy. The room I stayed in was lovely and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Considering the road is a Main Street with takeaways, only noise was a bit of traffic.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment our host answered the door. Really great room with a co-joining room for our son. Comfortable, clean, about 30 metres to the beach, close to train station car park (2 minute walk). Good choice of restaurants nearby. Very nice stay. Highly recommended.
Twin Palms is excellent. Julie made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. The location near the centre of Weymouth and near the beach was fantastic. The room was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfy. I'd definitely go back and I highly recommend staying there.
This guesthouse is perfect all - the location (very close to the
station, near shops, cafes and the beach esplanade), coziness and
comfort of the rooms, friendly hosts. Would not prevent some delicious
breakfast and can even be to raise the price for that!.
Very friendly hosts Julie and Mick made us welcome.
Great location, fabulous surprise once you walk inside off the street..this place is like the tardis..and is really lovely. Great room.
Excellent value, will definitely be back :).

This is our second stay at twin palms and this time was just as excellent as the last stay. We are planning another trip soon and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Nothing we disliked.
Nothing, everything was excellent.
Nothing not to like.
Do not like it, you can not invite your friends - very negative attitude
to visitors the owners but it is not important.
Nothing !!!!!.
thought it was expensive at £50 without breakfast and parking at the train station £3 per day.but you can ask julie for a parking permit so should be ok.
Nothing.
You don't get a breakfast, but then it is excellent value for money and very central so places around to find food.
Could only stay one night.
There was nothing not to like.

To dislike.
There was nothing to dislike.
See through shower partition.
Noise from outside.
Not good curb appeal or parking.
Needs better instructions on how to actually find their number in the street. They are on the first floor and the number is displayed up high on a very small sign. Owner is friendly but some what uninterested,.
Having to park in side streets.
to meny stairs.
The toilet, too noisy, lack of table for tea making facilities, kettle was on the large window ledge which meant the curtains had to be open at all times but no nets up so in full view which in early morning and at bed time was not good. The hot water in the shower just kept getting hotter and couldn't be controlled. No wardrobe, only cupboards with hangers on the door hook. Good if you like living out of a suitcase or if you are only staying for one night, sorry!.
the place itself. the decoration the facilities, etc etc.
wasn't aware of the bad parking ,wasnt aware of all the stairs with a suitcase ,shower directly in the bedroom with no privacy.
