Lovely friendly couple who made us feel very welcome, Very helpful and spent time to chat with us, Great with the children, Would recommend and stay there again. Enjoyed breakfast time and didn't feel rushed, Excellent.
First and foremost the hosts Dave & Lynn who were very friendly.
Secondly the breakfast, third the location, fourth -"value for money", fifth, the car parking arrangments which are free of charge.alle beoordelingen »

The kindness and vitality of the owner. The breakfast was ready in no time and it was excellent.

Very clean and 10 minutes walk to the town and very friendly.

Owners really friendey and very helpfull.
breakfast, price.
Nice breakfast.
location.
Clean bedding/towels.
breakfast choice.
Friendly enough staff and clean.
The room is a little dated but does the job. We were dissapointed with the shower room as there was no room to change clothes once you were washed.
Some of the reviews we saw before we booked were unfair!.
only very slight downside was shared shower but that is stated in brochure and was prepared :).
Room i stayed in was a single room very small to small to be a room really couldn't even brush my teeth over the sink just to small to use properly and thw quality of the food was not the best cheap sausage and bacon don't know why most of then are like this it's they chance to shine but for £30 a nite what can you say .But that said they couldn't do enough for you.
Very small bathroom, bed was very hard. Basic facilities.
If you ask somebody what time they want breakfast on a Sunday morning, don't be surprised if they say 10.30!.
Mattress - too soft and warn out
Fittings above wash basin in the way and made its use difficult.
Room was adequate but the bunk bed lower part was broken and very noisy.
We put the mattresses on floor for the second night.
Sink wouldn't drain very well.
No bar.
small shower.
One of the owners raising voice towards me! And offering to leave the
the guest house if I am not 100% happy with the room, very cheap
uncomfortable bed, few hangers as a wardrobe, unacceptable poor quality
of the shower.
The shower cut out half way through and left me having to dry covered in shower gel soap.
Shower head holder was broken and therefore impossible to direct water in correct direction.
Towel in room smelt of damp/musty.
Shared toilet-shower.
Poor décor. Wire under carpets. Broken furniture .
No access from carpark.
Very cramped 'family' room, noisy beds, one shower cubicle
that opened onto the landing for four rooms, poor sound insulation so
every flush and tap from other rooms heard in ours all through the
night, very inflexible breakfast time of 9am so too late for small
children who wake up at 6.30am. We left before breakfast as our five
year old twins wouldn't last that long. Very expensive for what it
is and I certainly would not say it was suitable for a family with
young children.
