  We booked two rooms for ourselves and my Inlaws for four nights. We were welcomed on arrival by Phil who immediately made us welcome with tea/coffee and go,e-made cake, while Helen got our rooms keys. We were then shown to our rooms which were well furnished, immaculately clean with kingsize beds. We arrived late afternoon, so we asked if they cou... wat mensen zeggen » ld recommend anywhere to eat, Phil recommended a local pub which served great food and gave us directions. The breakfast each morning was freshly cook - We pre-booked an evening meal. Our hostess Helen is an ex-chef and the meal was sensational as was breakfast the next morning. the room was a good size as was bathroom with all facilities. Our host Phil is a bit different but loves to engage in a philosophical chat. Helen is warm and friendly. the surrounds are very quiet and we would certainly go back there, and would expect our hosts to be very welcoming again.. Thefacilities couldn't be faulted and the food in the beautiful restaurantwas stunning. The owners and all the staff couldn't have been morefriendly and helpful. I can't recommend this hotel more highly. - We took our dogs very important to us and they were made to feel very welcome, lovelt walk for them in woods behind hotel! The breakfast on offer was excellent, well laid out and a delightful dining area. Service excellent too. It was a very quiet hotel.
