I have stayed at the Old Royd for many years when travelling to Alton Towers and I have never had a bad word to say. They get better infact, every year. Very pleasant and comfortable and within easy reach of all pubs, restaurants, tesco and attractions like Alton Towers. Great value for money and they cater for larger families as well as groups of friends which can sometimes be difficult to get a room for.
