  Charming country house ambience. Very comfortable double bed. 2 minutes stroll to Uppingham School hall where we were attending a charity ball.-- so no worries about drinking and driving or needing a taxi. Very good traditional English breakfast - Christina and Ian were both very accommodating and friendly. The were happy to layout champagne and... wat mensen zeggen » cake we had brought with us in one of their guest sitting rooms and throughout our stay our party of 5 was made very welcome.
